The last musketeer!!!

If the story was of kings and queens, nights and fair ladies I would have said that the last musketeer had just arrived.
However the story is somewhat different. Non the less did the last dancer arrive yesterday to be a part of our group! And the shoe fits! Thank you Natalia, for being the dancer you are!!!

We started working on a Duet which Joy and Natalia will be dancing in the beginning of the Performance... And I am pretty satisfied with the result!
The dancers are all able to portrait the emotions of the story that I intended...They are willing to take risks and move out of their comfort zones, and what choreographer wouldn't be happy for such!?

Again today we are broadcasting over Skype to our musician in Brooklyn. He is watching through webcam and then sending some ideas for music! These scores we comment on, so that we in the end will get a perfect sound for "The Sleeping Man" We are happy to have Katumba working with us on this performance, he has a unique voice that works well with this piece, and we are looking forward to get the finished score send to us this coming week:)
Bonus info: Katumba will, in the late summer, be touring Europe, playing on different locations in Denmark as well!!

In a second I will be on my way to continue the work on the duet... And I cant wait! These days I seem to long for rehearsals, I am happy for the dancers, happy about the choreography, happy about the work we are getting done and our method of working - which is just as much hard work as it is laughs...

We will, Tuesday April 13th, be showing parts of the performance "The Sleeping Man" on Café Slabberas on Frederiksgade 26 in Århus C, DK. It will be a night filled with poetry, music and dance. It starts and 7:30 and ends at 10pm so come and enjoy a cocktail while enjoying some performance art in Århus C!!!

Smiles

How to connect the art scenes...

We, who are a part of Filomusi Productions, wish to expand the art scene of Aarhus and connect despite of genres? And as we might have some ideas it is commonly known that 2 brains think better than one, so we are always keen to hear about ideas that can help us connect. If you're out there and have an idea as to how music, theater, videography, dance, art and poetry can become one, write us and we will take it in to consideration on our next board meeting.

Thank You
