The LAST day of NABO in Århus Festuge has ended... and now I need some sleep :)

I'm at home, it's almost midnight and we just finished our LAST show within the frames of Århus Festuge. It's been a CRAZY week, with somewhere between 23 and 25 performances. The funny thing is, that it in a way feels like we only did a few, and then my body tells me "You did a lot more than a few, just so you know". My head is buzzing with all the friendly, amazed, open, warm faces of the people that we "visited". It has been great, and I want to thank all of you, who invited us to preform in your homes. The project is with out a doubt a big success, that was only possible, thanks to Julie, who worked 24 hours a day to get Joy and me ready for stage, find places where we could preform and a LOT more.. She's amazing - keep on the good work my darling!!!!
and what a difference it makes to change partner. Every on should try it, it's fun, and a challenge.
I got to chance to change partner a few times, and what a difference that makes.Every on should try it, it's fun, and a challenge. I got amazed by how much the expression and feeling of the piece changed when I changed partner, Joy or Julie, both great and very different from the other :) I learned SO much from both of them, and just want to keep on dancing, so that I can learn more...
We ended our final day at Olivia's, a friend of Joy and me, parents, who has an amazing home in Lystrup. They had a lot of friends over, and served cake, coffee, baileys, fruit and a lot more. It's always nice to come and visit them, and you feel like home, no matter who you are, the door is always open. We all enjoyed the performance, that Julie danced and Joy recorded, and the guests, here, as well in all the other homes we have been to, had a lot of interesting questions, and when we had coffee and cake and mixed with the guests, the conversation kept on coming back to modern dance and neighbors ..
I'm now ready for bed, and am sitting in silence os greatfull that I have two so good friends and have been a part of this project.

How to connect the art scenes...

We, who are a part of Filomusi Productions, wish to expand the art scene of Aarhus and connect despite of genres? And as we might have some ideas it is commonly known that 2 brains think better than one, so we are always keen to hear about ideas that can help us connect. If you're out there and have an idea as to how music, theater, videography, dance, art and poetry can become one, write us and we will take it in to consideration on our next board meeting.

Thank You
