My friend Nigel from Trinidad and Tobego taught me the term "happy camper", and today I thank him as that term is exactly what I need to describe my day because today, I must admit made me a pretty happy camper.
Yesterday I met up with team Filomusi to rehearse "Nabo" as we recently were lucky enough to get support from Århus Kulturforvaltning.
The team consists of Joy Anna Hall, Helene Brøndsted and myself and what a trio!!
If I ever forgot why it is I love to dance and choreograph the past 48 hours has reminded me. The girls are fantastic and today a member of the "filomusi family" joined in. A close friend of Joy, wonderful Michael, came to take pictures of us while in rehearsal, and I can't wait to see the end result:) Last year he joined in as well, and some of you might remember the pictures posted on this page of rehearsals of "the Sleeping Man". I love them so why not repeat the success and ask Michael back :) And for the help we all thank him:)
Joy and Helene were sparkling as well, and I can only regret that there is a whole of 4 hours till I go to bed (If I don't want to wake up crazy early in the morning) Cause I am so looking forward to seeing them at rehearsals again tomorrow:).
They were precise and remembered the choreography impressively well considering that it has been more than 6 months since performing it last, and both have been engaged elsewhere since. I am happy to have them in the company and hope to make many a performance with them in the future… lucky for me already two performances are planned, 1 with each yeaaaah!!!
I bit you all farewell for now,
until we meet again,
Sincerely
Julie Brøgger

How to connect the art scenes...
We, who are a part of Filomusi Productions, wish to expand the art scene of Aarhus and connect despite of genres? And as we might have some ideas it is commonly known that 2 brains think better than one, so we are always keen to hear about ideas that can help us connect. If you're out there and have an idea as to how music, theater, videography, dance, art and poetry can become one, write us and we will take it in to consideration on our next board meeting.
Thank You
